Start Date: Thursday June 4th
Time: Virtual Class - 4 Classes over 4 weeks
This e-class will be centered around drafting/revising artist statements and critically looking at your work for thematic consistency. This is a 4 part course (weekly assignments will be included) you will get one on one feedback from the instructor via email on your artist statement and also feed back on your work vs your artist statement to see if the two are really trying to communicate the same message.
The course will be a mix of writing prompts, recorded lecture video/audio, and email correspondence. By the end of the course students will gain more confidence in speaking and writing about their own work and hopefully gain some more insight into why they are creating the work they are.
First session starts April 9th, with a limit of 15 students per session. Register before April 6th for session 1.
Lessons will be delivered via email each Thursday, information about assignment due dates will be included in each weekly email.
Students will need access to email and a camera/camera phone to send work images.
